Beautiful vintage Robinson/Cardinal American Mah Jongg set, late 1950s For Sale

This handsome set features substantial ivory-colored engraved tiles with colorful traditional designs. The Robinson department-store label and pre-ZIP-code telephone number help date the set to the earlier Cardinal era.INCLUDED:• 168 vintage engraved tiles• Four coordinating red racks with printed playing directions• Vintage carrying case• Wind indicator/bettor and dice, as picturedThe tile group includes 28 flower tiles providing flexibility for American Mah Jongg play. CONDITION:The set is in very good vintage condition overall, with normal light wear consistent with age.Please note that one 7 Bam tile has a small shallow chip/nick along the back edge. The face of that tile also has a small area of paint loss. Both sides of the affected tile are shown clearly in the photographs. The tile remains completely usable and stands normally with the other tiles.The carrying case and accessories show typical age-related wear.
