Beautiful Original Arthur Okamura Painting 1992 (local pickup only, NO shipping) For Sale

This is a beautiful representation of Mr. Okamura’s work. This piece was titled Sunset Monkey by the artist, and is a magnificent piece! The dimensions of this piece are 22 inches wide, and 30 inches tall. Framed and with the matting, the dimensions are 32 inches by 40 inches. Mr. Okamura was extremely diverse in his subject matter and often painted in many different styles and mediums. This is one of his sharpest pieces of work, and is representative of his diverse and eclectic style. The frame is in decent condition now because it has been totally fixed. The actual painting itself is in great condition. This was a gift to our father from the artist. They were good friends, and sometimes painted together. You can see the personalized signature done over a decade after the piece was completed. This is because our father always loved this particular painting that was hanging on the wall in Arthur’s studio with thumb tacks (you can see the small perforations on the top two corners of the piece inside the frame and behind the glass). One day while they were painting together, Arthur pulled it down, personalized it with our father’s name and birthday, then gave it to our father for a birthday gift! This is a local pickup only, no shipping! I will of course negotiate a good cash deal when you come inspect, authenticate, and pick up the painting in person.
