***The windshield is made of pure lexan (high quality polycarbonate). It’s plastic mold injected. It can take flying debris or small rock. We tested it with a hammer and it endured without crack or chip. This is not the cheap acrylic that most seller on sell with their fairing. Their will crack or break when you bend. In addition, it doesn’t provide any type of protection from rock or debris. This is a must have if you want a clear view and real protection.***
