Genuine signature of Tamara on cream coloured paper from my grandparent’s collection of autographs. A biographyis given among the photographs and based on the Wikipedia entry. Size iscommensurate with an autograph album page from which it was derived. Thefifty-pence in the pictures is given in the photograph for scale but is notpart of the purchase. Some signs of aging from the item’s almost 90-years withsome slight wear is visible in the photographs. There is some evidence ofmounting residue on the item, especially on the reverse which is also visiblein the photographs.
The collection had been in the family since inception andwas brought together by my grandparents who ran two classical record shops inLondon from the post-war to 1980’s. They ran classical record shops in London shopscalled Collectors Corner, in Monmouth Street, WC2, and in New Oxford Street,WC1A. They also had their own international record label ‘Olympus Records’records from which may be found on . The authenticity of autographs in thecollection was verified by Bonhams in 2023. I have revised and upgraded thepresentation and biographies of the items.
