The good.
1) The vehicle starts, runs, stops. You can fly into Reno Airport, take the shuttle Stateline/South Lake Tahoe and pick up the vehicle and drive it to your destination but the brakes need to be gone through first before travel.
2) The vehicle is no longer in use and was recently taken out of service. The license plates will go with the vehicle. Please note that the vehicle was purchased from a California County Probate sale. Besides the title, it will come with: a description of the property from the county's public administrator and signed by me; an official death certificate from the County of the title's registered owner; certified copies from the county probate court, in the matter of the deceased estate. Please study the related paperwork photos and if this arrangement is not suitable to you, please do not offer.
3) The leather seats, although worn are comfortable.
4) The engine is powerful for its size and has plenty of pep. You are invited to contact us and come see and inspect the vehicle
The not so good.
1) This is a well used vehicle that is 35 years old. It could use paint touch up for scratches and a good cleaning. There are pine tar droplets upon it and stains from pine needles, as large mature pine trees tower over the storage area.
2) The brakes should be gone through before any journey is undertaken as the vehicle has been sitting and are not safe.
3) The vehicle starts with a jump but the battery is outdated and has sat through winters. Doubtful if it would hold a charge.
4) The radio is asking for the passcode. The code will have to be requested through a BMW dealership or a like entity. I do not know the passcode. It is something that when the battery is replaced or gone down, it needs to be reset.
