Technique: This specific style is known as Bas-Relief (raised contrast). It was produced in Texas using a letterpress technique on paper and papyrus,The letters are hand-cast, sculpted, and finished with metallic detailing.
Substrate: The verse is pressed onto a custom, handmade papyrus, bark, or heavy pulp paper featuring a signature natural, raw \"deckle edge\".
The Scripture: The text displays Revelation 1:8: \"I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.\"
Uniqueness: Because each substrate is molded by hand and every text plate is individually cast, no two pieces in this collection are exactly identical in paper character, fiber layout, or color tone.
The Artist\'s Signature: Betty Spooner\'s physical signature is handwritten in ink directly on the bottom right corner of the inner matting.

I had to remove the back paper on the frame because my mom hid things everywhere 😑. I had a frame shop attach new hanging materials. The Robert Spooner gallerie sticker is attached from prior paper but no longer attached. There is no Certificate of Authenticity.
Price reflects this. Beautiful piece but needs a new home.
