Art Deco c1930s 935 Silver Marcasite Style Faux Pearl Ring + 925 Studs For Sale

Vintage 935 silver ring, believed to date to the Art Deco period, circa 1930s, featuring two imitation pearl cabochons within an elongated double-oval setting with fine beaded and marcasite-style detailing.
The Art Deco dating is based on the combination of the ring’s strongly symmetrical geometric design, elongated setting, detailed silverwork and construction, together with the use of the 935 silver standard. Rings of this type, combining high-grade silver with marcasite-style decoration and imitation or glass stones, were produced in Continental Europe during the 1920s and 1930s.
The 935 mark indicates 93.5% silver, a slightly higher silver content than standard 925 sterling silver. This fineness was used in Continental European jewellery, including pieces produced in Germany and Austria during the Art Deco period.
No maker’s mark or national assay mark has been identified on this ring, so the exact manufacturer and country of origin cannot be confirmed. It is therefore best described as Continental European, probably German or Austrian, circa 1930s.
The two central stones have been identified as imitation pearls.
