A beautifully designed and crafted brass box by Eugen Schwemmle who was an Austrain artist and designer active in the early to mid 20th century. Recognized for decorative metalworks, furniture design and collaborative projects in the mid-centruy modern movement.
This lovely brass box is lined with blue velvet and has a key to keep it locked. It measures 5.12\"W x 3.54\"D x 1.97H. It was commissioned by Erhard & Sohne was a long running metal working company founded in 1844 in Schwabisch Gmund, Baden-Wurttemberg, by Carl Gottlieb Erhard & his two sons Carl & Julius.
