An unusual early 20th century American sterling silver postage stamp roll holder/dispenser made by R. Blackinton & Co., North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
The cylindrical case features a hinged lid and a vertical dispensing slot designed for feeding a roll of postage stamps. The interior has an attractive gold-washed / gilt finish.
