The attractive reddish-brown cloth binding features an illustrated portrait of a fashionable woman surrounded by an ornate Art Nouveau-style decorative design. A beautiful display book for collectors of antique fiction, early romance novels, decorative bindings or feminine portrait covers.
Condition:
Antique pre-owned condition with exterior rubbing, fading, edge wear, small marks and general wear consistent with age. The front interior hinge/endpaper is cracked and partially separated, leaving the front cover somewhat loose. Pages show age toning, scattered spotting and occasional marks. No modern repairs have been attempted.
