Antique c1880 French Repeater Carriage Clock Alarm Engraved Dial Brass For Sale

Here is an exceptional French clock , that appears to be unsigned or at the time of listing this I have not found a signature, Its what they call a repeater , I bought it from a collection , seems to run the open escape up top was running but the hands where not moving , so I am not sure what's going on , I was told he had this serviced at one point , there is what appears to be a very small crack on the bottom right , can't feel it on the outside so must be on the inside , there is also a small stain of corrosion there , I would imagine you have to take it apart to clean that aspect , approximately 7 x 4 x 4 this is not your average clock , Had to been made by one of the top makers of the time, still trying to do some research .
