This is a wonderful antique c1860s Victorian braided hair mourning ring that has a gold bar that says, \"Souvenir.\" These were generally made in France and the \"Souvenir\" word is blue and white enamel. The gold part of the ring I believe is 18K as most of them generally were, although there are no markings. The ring has some tearing at the edge of the gold on one side, but the braiding is sturdy and strong. The ring measures about a ring size 5. It is a beautiful antique Victorian ring and is so pretty to display!Non-smoking home. No international sales.
