Exceptional antique Weller Hudson art pottery vase decorated and signed with the HP monogram of noted Weller artist Hester Pillsbury.
Dating to approximately the 1920s, this impressive vase features hand-painted, raised irises in soft pink and golden yellow, surrounded by sweeping green leaves. The rich blue background gradually transitions into pale blue near the base. Its large size, graceful flared form and vivid floral decoration give it outstanding display presence.

Condition:
Excellent antique condition with no observed chips, cracks or repairs. There is expected age-related glaze crazing, interior darkening, a faint darkened streak and areas of light brown discoloration on the lower back and near the base. These areas are documented in the photographs and are not prominent when the vase is displayed from the front.
