Antique Vtg 1930s Folk Art Carved Wooden Uncle Sam Jointed Dancing Jigger Figure For Sale

This offering is for an antique circa 1930\'s folk art Uncle Sam Jointed Dancing Jigger Figure. The figure was hand carved from solid wood and he measures app. 16\" in height. He is signed by the maker on the stick \"Edward Schlosser\" and also initialed \"ES\" on the figures back. Sam is jointed at the shoulders, hips and knees and he retains his original red, white and blue paint in excellent near 100% intact condition. The surface is wonderful with overall tiny crazing and a beautiful mellow patina. I see one spot on the right leg hip joint where it looks like a repair was done in the making as it is visible on the front but not on the back. Otherwise the only flaw I see is some minor loss to the paper stars on his hat, there is very minor wear to the surface but no cracks, breaks, or other repairs.
