Up for sale is a magnificent, authentic late 19th to early 20th-century German porcelain figurine crafted by the renowned workshop of Richard Eckert & Co. (Volkstedt, Thuringia). This large, beautifully detailed cabinet piece depicts a Victorian or Rococo-style boy and girl playfully interacting with a large golden sphere.
Markings & Authenticity: The underside features the genuine impressed/incised Richard Eckert crossed swords mark with characteristic looped crossguards, confirming its antique German origin (circa 1890s–1910s).
Excellent Antique Condition: This piece has been remarkably well-preserved for being over 120 years old.
Zero Damage: There are no chips, cracks, hairline fractures, or professional restorations. The notoriously fragile areas—including the boy\'s raised fingertips and the elaborate ruffles of the clothing—are entirely intact.
