Original antique Victorian tintype photograph featuring a full-length portrait of a woman wearing an elaborate period dress and large bonnet or hat.She is posed beside a decorative wire studio chair with a wonderful painted studio backdrop featuring a palm or tropical tree and architectural scenery.This is an especially interesting Victorian portrait because of the elaborate clothing, unusual studio setting and full-length composition. Believed to date approximately to the 1880s–1890s.Loose, uncased tintype with substantial age-related wear. The image has scratches, surface wear, edge wear and other marks. The reverse has significant oxidation/rust and surface deterioration.
