Original antique Victorian-era tintype photograph featuring two women and a young child posed together for a studio portrait.Wonderful 19th-century family image with excellent period fashion details. One woman wears a bold plaid/checkered dress with decorative trim and long earrings, while the other wears a contrasting trimmed dress with bow at the neckline. The child is seated on the younger woman’s lap and is wearing a light-colored dress and button boots.Likely dates to approximately the 1870s based on the clothing and hairstyles.Nice clear image with strong facial detail and contrast. Antique condition with expected age-related scratches, surface marks, edge wear and some oxidation/wear to the reverse.
