Beautiful antique Victorian black cotton skirt dating to the late 19th century, circa 1890s.A particularly wearable example with a generous 32-inch waist and a dramatic full silhouette. Constructed in black cotton with a gathered back, button closure, deep tiered lower section, and multiple rows of stitched detailing near the hem. The lower ruffled/tiered portion is lined, giving the skirt wonderful structure and weight.The skirt is in excellent antique condition overall. There are a few very small spots but no significant condition issues noted.
