This is a beautiful antique style Japanese Satsuma vase featuring a detailed hand painted scene of Immortals.
The vase is decorated with traditional moriage technique and gold gilt accents over a characteristic cream crackle glaze. It has a flared scalloped rim and twin decorative handles.
Good antique condition with no chips or cracks. It shows an authentic aged crackle glaze (crazing) which is a deliberate feature of Satsuma pottery. There is some age related wear to the gold gilt.
