Binding & Hinges: The primary cloth bindings remain structurally solid. Note that the front inner paper hinge of the "James Little" volume exhibits a clean split at the bottom edge, revealing the mesh underneath, though the page remains attached.
Spines & Hardboard Covers: The original red cloth boards show expected age-related shelf wear, corner bumping, and rubbing. Spines display minor fraying and chipping at the top and bottom pull points.
Spine Gilt: The gold gilt lettering remains bright and highly legible across four of the volumes. The Colossians and Philemon volume displays heavy fading and rubbing across the spine text.
Interior & Inscriptions: The interior text blocks are securely attached with light, clean, natural age-toning. The front endpaper of one volume features a unique piece of history—a previous owner's signature ("James Little") elegantly inscribed in vintage fountain pen ink.
