Victorian Staffordshire pottery flatback figure depicting King William III (William of Orange) on horseback, c. 1860–1880. Earthenware with overglaze enamels and traces of original gilt script to the front reading “King William 3rd.” Typical age crazing to the glaze, scattered enamel wear, a few small nicks and firing flaws; old vent holes from manufacture. Displays well with classic mantel presence. Unmarked to base (as made).
