Beautiful antique Victorian-era silverplate tilting teapot (spirit kettle) made by Roberts & Belk Ltd of Sheffield, England. This highly decorative kettle features elaborate hand-chased floral and scroll engraving, a sculpted finial, elegant scrolled handle, and its original stand with ornate claw-and-scroll feet. The kettle tilts smoothly for easy pouring and retains its original chain.
The underside bears Roberts & Belk’s 5-symbol Sheffield pseudo-hallmark sequence, typical of their electroplated nickel silver (EPNS) pieces from the late 19th to early 20th century (c. 1880–1910). Additional marks include “3”, “U”, and a rosette/star punch.
A stunning, highly decorative display piece for Victorian décor, silver collectors, tea service enthusiasts, or period stage/film props.
