The tea pot is quite lovely and I have not seen another like it aside from ceramic pottery replicas. I have left the tea pot as I found it. There is patina, oxidation, surface scratches, some small dents and signs of its age- all adding to its ageless charm.
You may keep using for boiling water or for decorative purposes. Keep in mind the inside has oxidation and patina.
It would look also great in a rustic farm kitchen or country style restaurant for decoration
