This is a sweet estate find. This early 1900's primitive pincushion features two ceramic Scotty dogs (one black scotty, one white scotty) sewn to the top of the cushion. It is absolutely loaded with original, old pins. Definitely a handmade piece, made with much precision and care as was everything back in the day. Adorned with ruffle accents. The base measures 5-1/2" with nearly a 7" overhang.
Condition is shown in the photos ~ some wear and aging but the fabric is not fragile and it's the cutest pincushion I have ever come across!
