Beautiful original illustration artwork signed and dated by well listed artist Walter King Stone. Appears to be pastel or perhaps mixed media on paper, wrapped in plastic and on card which has preserved it well for over a century. Beautiful scene painstakingly executed and not something you will likely find again. Watermark on paper is noticeable upon close inspection. Comes with provenance on cardboard back and reproduction of the page it’s used on in a book. Please use photos and zoom feature for most accurate condition. Measures about 18.5” by 12”.
