An antique 10”diameter hand-painted Nippon plate marked with the Morimura green “M in Wreath” mark, dating it to before 1921. It displays a hand-painted sailboat at sunset with palm trees reflecting in the water, a common motif found on early Noritake and Nippon-era porcelain.
In excellent preowned condition with no flaws. The the cobalt and gold enameling on the rim is still vibrant.
