It is in great vintage condition with no chips or scratches to the enamel. While most of the gold plate has worn away, the underlying brass is beautiful. It has a shiny, reflective bottom with a perfect mirror inside the lid. Even the powder screen is in excellent condition. It shows a patent number stamped in the bottom.
