Scarce antique Long Island book. Original, late 19th century first edition pageblock rebound into mid 20th century hardcover boards in overall very good condition. Exterior is overall very clean with some very minimal soils or handling marks as well as heavy bump to the upper outer corner of the front cover and a much less heavy bump to the upper outer corner of the back cover also. Front endpaper and last page of the index have old bookseller\'s mid 20th century stickers which are becoming brittle and have caused some soiling to paper around them. Interior throughout is overall clean and well intact with only minor age or handling wear and with most pages very clean but also with mild foxing or light soils here and there throughout. Book includes two folding maps one at page 252 and the other after page 432 with this one having a small tatter in the blank area under the map drawing. Book\'s binding is tight and well intact and the book is complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Book has no odors.
Book totals 503 pages, measures approximately 9 x 6 5/8 x 2 1/2 inches and weighs about 3 1/4 pounds.
