Up for sale is a beautiful and highly collectible antique French Art Deco porcelain tray, produced by L\'Art Décoratif Limoges. This exquisite dresser or pin tray features a central rectangular pâte-sur-pâte (paste-on-paste) ceramic plaque depicting two classically styled cherubs or figures soaring through swirling clouds.The design is the authorized work of the celebrated French master sculptor Joe Descomps (Joseph Emmanuel Cormier, 1869–1950), known for his iconic Art Nouveau and Art Deco bronze and ceramic masterpieces.The underside features the authentic, period-correct gold backstamp: \"L\'Art Décoratif Limoges\" alongside the artist\'s signature \"Joe Descomps\" and the traditional Limoges shield mark.

Excellent antique condition overall. The central pâte-sur-pâte relief work remains crisp, sharp, and highly defined with no broken pieces to the delicate white raised porcelain. The tray retains its beautiful lustrous glaze with no major cracks, restorations, or structural chips. Please note that the tray originally featured a delicate hand-painted gold gilded rim.
