One (1) antique Japanese wakizashi sword handle (tsuka). Consists of same (rayskin) wrapped around a wooden core, shakudo fuchi-kashira (signed) featuring a dragon in waves decorated with gold washed details, gold washed dragon menuki and wrapped in silk cord. Edo Period 1700-1868. Good condition- minor wear. Measures 7 1/4 inches long, 1 1/2 inches wide and 7/8 inch thick. Nakago ana measures 1 inch by 1/4 inch, 5 3/8 inches deep, center of peg hole measures 1 1/8 inches from end.
