A beautiful antique Japanese cloisonné vase, dating to approximately the late Meiji to early Taishō period.
This small vase has a lovely sky-blue ground with delicate bird and floral decoration. The workmanship is especially interesting because it combines fine wire cloisonné with foil / ginbari-style effects. Near the lower section, the soft pink tone gradually fades into the pale body of the birds, creating a very attractive and unusual appearance.
Despite its small size, the vase shows very fine detail and careful workmanship 4 inches high without the stand.

Approximately 2.8–3 inches wide.
Condition:
Overall in very good to excellent antique condition. No enamel loss or repairs noted. There is one very fine small hairline near the base rim and another very fine small hairline at the upper rim. Both are minor and are shown in the photographs.
