A rare 19th C. Ottoman or Syrian leather and wood riding crop handle with an intricate inlaid geometric pattern having mother of pearl veneer amongst others. It is in good condition for age with a few small bites/missing veneer pieces, wear from use, etc. Leather is intact but handle surface emits lots and lots of brown leather dust upon holding it. Stable if left displayed, otherwise excessive handling could damage the grips/rapidly speed up deterioration. Please see all photos for condition. A beautiful object sure to be a conversation piece!
