Antique Hand Blown RUBY RED GLASS Pitcher W Twisted Ribs/Sterling Silver Swirls
Size approx. 7\" high with a 1.25\" opening at spout. Round base is 2.25\" diameter
This is NOT flashed glass where the ruby coloration is painted on- it is hand blown glass in a solid ruby red color through and through.
Features twisted vertical ribs along the body, plus a collar of ridges at the base of neck. Lovely patterning of sterling silver overlay swirls on the front 3 vertical panels.
Elongated neck and handle, very elegant/graceful
Polished pontil mark on underside. Very thick and heavy glass, beautifully made
This also would make a charming flower vase
Excellent condition. No nicks chips fleabites or cracks. Silver is not worn.
Would also look great on a windowsill where it can glow with light passing through the red color.
