Stunning. Antique Chinese Carved Green Jade Vase
Late 19th century, Chinese
The vessel is carved from a single piece of light green jade. It features a flattened hu-style archaistic baluster shape with an open, slightly flared rim. The body is incised with traditional flowing stylized scroll and cloud relief motifs.
Two detailed dragon handles are carved onto the neck, each holding a loose fully-articulated jade ring.
