Antique French Portrait Miniature Signed “Lagarde” – Ornate Gilt Frame For Sale

It has an ornate gilt frame with raised floral details and a large bow at the top. The original easel stand is on the back.

There is also a small, old paper sticker/label attached to the back, which is partially torn and difficult to read. I have left it intact.

The frame measures approximately 8\" tall.

Late 19th Century, circa 1880–1900

The backing is original but very worn and torn from age. There is also some age-related wear to the frame. Please see all photos for condition.

The signature appears to read Lagarde, and the piece is consistent with other late-19th-century French miniatures attributed to the Lagarde name. I have not had the artist attribution or portrait material professionally authenticated, so I am selling it based on the visible signature and characteristics.
