Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible piece of elegant Depression-era glassware: a Cambridge Glass Company Decagon (Line 722) Handled Serving Tray in striking Ebony (Black Amethyst) glass. This stunning Art Deco piece dates back to the late 1920s to early 1930s and was manufactured in Cambridge, Ohio.This particular tray features an exquisite, wide gold-encrusted flat-flemish style floral etching along the rim, beautifully complemented by brilliant gold-gilt highlights on the open handles and outer edge.When held up to a direct, intense light source, you can appreciate its true Black Amethyst composition as a deep, rich purple glow emerges along the edges. The piece is fully authenticated by the classic embossed Cambridge "C" inside a triangle logo located cleanly on the bottom center.Condition:Excellent vintage condition!
