Antique, mid to late 19th century, hardcover book in overall very good condition. Exterior of the book is overall clean and well intact with some age, use, shelf and handling wear. Spine face has some discolorations to the upper and lower ends as well as bits of paper adhered to the middle section with gold gilded and embossed title text vibrant and clear. Front and back covers have some very old soiling or watermarks that are clean to the touch. Interior of the book is very well intact with sturdy pages throughout that have toning from age and some occasional marks in margins or marginalia notes. First page of the book after the preface has a 19th century ink signature at the upper margin of the pages. Interior has some other light age, use or shelf wear like occasional soil or foxing. Book’s binding is tight and well intact and the book is complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Book has no odors.
Book totals 1178 pages, measures approximately 9 1/2 x 6 5/8 x 2 1/2 inches and weighs about 3 3/4 pounds.
