Antique Chinese 19th c. Blue and White Scalloped Plate, Pavilion River Scene with sailboats.Dimension: approximately 10 inches wide x 3"deepProbably dating from late 18th‑early 19th century, Qing dynasty.The plate features a beautiful scalloped, flower‑shaped rim with fluted body. Central hand‑painted scene depicts a classic Chinese riverside landscape with pavilions, bridges, boats, willow trees and rolling hills. The border is decorated with fine lattice diaper (repeating) pattern. Outer wall adorned with three small sprig‑flower motifs. Unmarked sandy base, characteristic of Canton export wares.
Interior is in very good condition with one small Crack extending from a chip. There are three chips in the rim, common for items of this age. See photos for details.
