This Extremely Rare Christian Messner & Co "Rival Band" Tremolo Harmonica is in Vintage/Antique Condition.
This piece was manufactured in Germany and based upon the historical design and the cover plates being attached with original small Brad nails as opposed to screws, more than likely, dates to the late 1800s / very early 1900s.
One side is marked, "Messner's Rival Band Tremolo" and "Germany" and the other side is marked, "Trademark", Ch Messner & Co", and four engraved prize medallions from exhibitions in Philadelphia, Chicago, Paris, and Wien.
This piece is in untested authentic, vintage/antique condition. The metal shows natural, aged patina and crisp, readable engravings. Wooden comb is intact.
