Antique Cast Bronze High-relief Decorative Plaque of a Female Circa 18th-19th Century
This is a beautiful cast bronze decrotive plaque or furniture mount in a Neoclassical style
It depicts a classical female figure, possibly an allegorical or a muse draped in flowing garments and holding a book or scroll
It has not been cleaned and has a lovely dark aged patina and is darker than the pictures show
It has one small patch of damage to the robe at her waist. this is to be expected of a piece of this age that has been used and loved
