The product is an antique B. Dondorf Stuart Zeit Whist Patience playing card deck, complete with floral-themed design from the early 20th century in Germany. The deck, dating back to the Stuart Period (1897-1933), provides a glimpse into the elegant and intricate card games of that era. The A, K, D, B, indices (Ace, Konig, Dame, Bube) means the deck was specifically printed for the German/Austrian domestic market. Having the authentic period-accurate Joker dramatically helps the value. In antique decks from this era c. 1897-1933 the Joker was often lost or damaged over time. With having the complete 52 card deck plus the Joker the value is mostly retained despite not having the original box. The cards measure approx. 2 7/8\" tall x 1 7/8\" wide. Made in Germany, this deck is a sought-after collectible for those interested in historical and unique playing card sets. I cannot seem to find the deck number and have searched to try and find this card back with no luck. It just may be a hard to find set!
