This case is an antique Art Nouveau portrait vase produced in the historic pottery hub of Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia.This piece is stamped "Made in Austria" which indicates it’s typically dated between 1890 and 1915.
This was likely crafted by world-renowned makers like Riessner, Stellmacher & Kessel (RSt&K / Amphora) and Ernst Wahliss~13 ¾” tall vase with a 4” base3D raised florals and 3D gold butterflies paired with a central lady’s portrait are highly prized features from their turn-of-the-century "Gres Bijou" and "Semiramis" style periods.In the bottom of this “lady” vase is what looks like the number “319” indicating indicating it is likely from the Amphora factory and an early design from their initial decade of production (likely the mid-to-late 1890s). Not aware of any cracks. Ceramic & gold all appear in good shape.
