DESCRIPTION
Antique early American redware cake or pudding mold with an attractive mottled green and yellow glaze. Applied lug handles (one missing). Classic fluted form. Unglazed base. Most likely a mid-Atlantic origin, such as Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or possibly farther south.
CONDITION
Overall good antique condition with considerable age and use-related wear. Structurally sturdy and sound, with one missing handle and an old repaired chip on the rim. Minor chips around the base, and some minor glaze flakes throughout (all visible in the images). A DELIGHTFULLY PRIMITIVE AND VISUALLY APPEALING REDWARE CAKE MOLD!
