Antique, nearly two and a half centuries old, fully bound in leather, hardcover, late 18th century book in overall good to very good condition. Exteriors are clean and overall well intact for the book\'s great age with both the front and back hinges cracked but with both covers still well connected to the book via the original binding strings. Outer corners and edges of the boards and upper and lower ends of the spine have mild to moderate rubs and chips and the boards have some scattered scuffs. Book has been treated with renaissance wax by the former owner who was a prolific collector so it is easy to casually handle and has a bit of a sheen to it and a very slight tackiness to the touch. Outer fore edges have some very light and old watermarks that do not see their way through to the interior of the book. Interior of the book is overall clean with scattered toning, foxing or light soiling here and there throughout on pages that are still sturdy and overall bright. Front and back endpapers have some heavier toning, front endpapers have old pastedown bookplates as well as a former owner\'s ink inscription. Book\'s binding is tight and well intact and the book is complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing.
Book is paginated three times with the first pagination totaling 184 pages, the second pagination totaling 159 pages and the third paginating totaling 299 pages. Book measures approximately 8 3/4 x 5 5/8 x 1 7/8 inches and weighs just over 2 pounds.
