Antique, approaching three centuries old, three quarters leatherbound book with marbled hardcover boards in overall very good condition, missing some of the illustrations, as mentioned above, and is typical of these very old editions and also with some mispaginations in the March issue, though the text appears to be complete. Exterior of the book is overall clean and well intact with some crackling to the leather at the hinges but without the hinges cracked through. Hubbed spine face also has some mild crackling and there are rubs or very light chips to some outer corners and edges of the boards and spine. Exterior of the book was treated with renaissance wax by the former owner, who was a prolific collector, so there is a bit of a sheen to it and it is stable and easy to casually handle. Interior of the book is overall very clean and well intact with occasional notation, such as at the front endpapers and also some age, use or handling wear, like toning, foxing, or soiling with pages remaining sturdy and overall bright throughout. Book is complete aside for the aforementioned missing illustration plates. Book\'s binding is tight and well intact with no pages coming loose or detached. Book has no odors.
Book totals 646 pages followed by an extensive index. Book measures approximately 8 5/8 x 5 7/8 x 2 inches and weighs about 2 pounds.
