Up for sale is a breathtaking 100 percent authentic matching siblings pair of antique P. F. Volland raggedy Ann and Andy cloth dolls . This pair dates from the earliest production era, circa 1920. Finding a true matching pair that has stayed together for over a century is exceptional rare!! And we know they have been together forever because they belonged to my great, great, great 3rd cousin, Irene and her twin sister Allene. Both dolls display perfectly synchronized authentic patina and aging. Raggedy Ann features her signature 6 lower eyelashes under flat black shoe button eyes Andy has his 4 lower eyelashes under matching shoe button eyes. Both dolls utilize natural period correct mother of pearl buttons to secure their garments and trousers. In one of the photos you can see the outline (and feel) of the original heart that was sewn in at the factory! These dolls are in honest untouched antique condition showing beautiful textile patina appropriate for being over a hundred years old.
