Masterfully hand-painted during the Qing Dynasty (circa 1830s–1850s), this helmet-style pitcher was crafted for Western markets and features a timeless coastal landscape complete with traditional pavilions, stylized trees, and water scenes.The piece showcases the signature traits of genuine period export porcelain, including a heavy, dark blue geometric lattice (diaper) border along the rim, organic glaze pooling, and a wonderful \"orange-peel\" texture under the light.The underside reveals a completely unglazed, gritty light-gray paste foot rim displaying decades of authentic shelf-wear staining.
