Antique 19th-century Zsolnay Pecs ceramic faience porcelain ewer pitcher originating from Hungary.
The piece features a distinct flat, disk-shaped (or flask-like) body resting on a flared pedestal foot. It is constructed with an elongated, asymmetrical pouring spout and a slender, scrolling loop handle embellished with raised gold-gilt studs. The cream-colored earthenware body is hand-painted in traditional Zsolnay Pecs fashion. It exhibits a central circular panel framing a prominent pink stylized flower surrounded by detailed olive-gold foliage and sprawling vines. The combination of natural floral imagery, asymmetric features, and elaborate outlines reflects a blend of late 19th-century Historicism and early Art Nouveau style.
