Two dark green hardstone seals with characteristic red flecking visually consistent with bloodstone. Each is set in an ornate yellow/gilt-metal mount and carries a different engraved design.Together, the six individual single-face seals provide six engraved sealing faces, while the spinner provides another six, giving the assemblage twelve different engraved sealing faces in total.The differing styles and apparent dates of the components suggest that these seals may have been collected and assembled together over time during the 19th century, rather than originally manufactured as a single matching set. Their survival together as an intact assemblage makes this an especially interesting example of 19th-century personal and sentimental seal collecting.Condition: Antique condition with expected age and handling wear. The yellow/gilt-metal components show patina, rubbing, surface wear and areas of finish loss. The faceted transparent seals show age-related scratches, abrasions and small edge nicks/chips, with more noticeable edge wear to the clear example. The red “Emma” seal shows surface wear but remains readily legible. The two bloodstone-type seals retain their engraved designs with expected age-related surface wear. The six-face spinner remains particularly attractive, with all six engraved faces present and identifiable.The materials and metal content have not been professionally tested, so the colored transparent seals are conservatively described as glass-type material, the dark green/red-flecked examples as bloodstone-type hardstone, and the mounts as yellow/gilt metal.Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.Included: The complete assemblage shown in the photographs, consisting of all seven antique seal fobs together on the existing suspension loop and connecting links.
