I am offering for sale an antique 19th Century brass box with a 3-dimensional portrait ofFrench King Louis XII (1498-1515) on the lid. The portrait is surrounded by the Latin legend Felice Lvdovico Regnate Devod Cesare Altero Gavdefomnis Nacio. The makers mark appears on the bottom. It is in very good condition with age appropriate wear and patina as you can see in the photos. It measures 3 7/8\" in diameter x 1 5/8\" high.
